Twisted Vine Restaurant opened the latter part of July 2005. Formerly Tartaglia's and the Old Birmingham Restaurant, the comfortable yet elegant atmosphere, with its impressive open space, brick walls, balconies and Victorian style chandeliers - continue to embrace the patrons as they dine. This historic landmark, built in 1893 was originally the Old Birmingham Bank, still maintains the original vault from the bank in the main dining room. When you walk into the dining room you will be impressed with the chick oak moldings and stained glass windows that once surrounded Valentino-crazed tellers and portly pinstriped bankers.

Downstairs you can visit Birmingham Cellars, a cozy lounge area where Twisted Vine offers full dinner and cocktails, a Happy Hour Buffet on Fridays and Live Entertainment on Fridays and Saturdays. You'll feel like you've stepped into Europe walking through the brick archways. You may even see our Lady from the Past ... our ghost who still frequents the lounge area.

 The restaurant serves American/Continental with a twist on the eclectic, offering dishes with Italian, Asian and Pacific Rim influences. On and off premise catering is available for special parties, business events or any other special occasion. The Main Dining Room will seat 60, one Balcony seats 30, the other Balcony seats 12 and the Birmingham Cellar seats 30. If you can't join us at the restaurant take out is also available.
