Hitchin' Post Tavern opened Dec. 26, 2005 in Durham, CT. This historic building (approx. circa 1840) with its open cathedral ceiling reveals the wood beam structure of the building, and you are literally sitting under the stars at the bar under the florescent lighting.

 Take Exit 48 (I-91 North) towards Hartford. Exit 11 (Rt.22) Keep right at the fork in the ramp.
Merge onto Rt. 22. Rt. 22 becomes Clintonville Rd. At the intersection of Rt.22 & Rt.17 turn left onto
Middletown Ave. (Rt. 17N) Follow several miles into Durham. Hitchin' Post Tavern is the on the right
hand side.

 From I-95 Southbound -
