Hey Hey
This is Rich F. Welcome to
the Acoustic Café online! If
you haven't paid us a visit
yet, let me give you an idea
of what we're all about.
Located in the historic
Black Rock section of
Bridgeport, the Acoustic
Café is an intimate venue
that plays host to a variety
of musical entertainment.
Whether you're a die-hard
folk fan, a blues lover or
if your tastes run more
toward pop, rock, jazz,
bluegrass or the jamband
scene, we're sure that a
glance at our calendar any
given month will give you
plenty of good reasons to
come down and check us out.
In addition to our wide
selection of music, we make
occasional jaunts into
spoken word territory with
comedy, improv and a monthly
series called Poetry & Beer
which is sponsored by the
Fairfield County Weekly.
Another NEW thing
at The Acoustic
Cafe...
Each Wednesday we
will be hosting a
Jazz Jam
Session....beginning
at 9:30 or so.
Our house band
will consist of a
tenor sax, double
bass, guitar, and
drums. All you need
do is bring your
instrument and sit
in. This is
not quite as
informal as Open Mic..
Whether you come to
play or just watch,
it should be a lot
of wonderful music.
Sit and have a
couple of drinks ...
admission is free
and the heat is on

The Café is also available
for private parties as well
as recording and rehearsal
space. So whether you want
to throw a birthday bash,
celebrate a special
anniversary or record that
demo tape that's sure to
propel your band to stardom,
give us a call for more
information.
And of course, what night out at
the Café would be complete
without the appropriate victuals
and libations? We offer great
coffee, beer, wine, a variety of
specialty teas-be sure to check
out our eclectic collection of
teapots-and a light fare menu
that includes delicious soups,
wraps and stuff to satisfy your
sweet tooth.
If you're looking for a great place with a good
vibe and lots of friendly folks, the Acoustic Café is just what you're looking
for. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming so you can come alone or come with
friends. We're sure you'll be glad you did.

Get off Exit 23
