We are a
quartet of
undergraduates
currently
attending Yale
University. The
band consists of
Adam Cushner on
saxophones, Marc
Sorel on piano,
Silas Meredith
on acoustic

Paxton on drums.
Our current
repertoire
includes
Brazilian and
funk influenced
originals,
mainstream
originals, and
jazz standards.
We play most of
our gigs on
campus but would

Patty Carey, a
native of
Connecticut, has
been a vocalist
for over 15
years. Patty's
influences have
been the
greatest female
vocalists of
five decades
including Ella
Fitzgerald,
Sarah Vaughan,
Judy Garland,
Patsy Cline,
Karen Carpenter
and more. Patty
sings jazz and
pop arrangements
spanning the
years from the
1930s to present
and the music
she performs is
sung with the
heart and soul
of the original
artists. Patty
is very active
performing for
the Greater
Hartford Arts
Council and
their Sponsors.
She performs at
many local
venues such as,
Foxwoods Casino,
The Pump House
Grille, Main and
Hopewell and

I have played
and loved music
since the day I
was born. In
third grade I
picked up the
trumpet. Not
until eighth
grade did I
start playing,
my main
instrument, the
guitar. I
attended the
Greater Hartford
Academy of
Performing Arts,
studying jazz
trumpet, piano,
and theory.
After graduating
high school, I
started a band
called Blind
Ambition. We
opened up for
acts such as;
Robbie Kreiger
of the Doors,
Vince Welneck of
the Grateful
Dead,
Strangefolk,
Deep Bannana
Blackout, and
many others. I
am currently
taking some time
away from weekly
gigs to teach
guitar at
Baldwin Music
studio in Avon
CT.
