We are a quartet of undergraduates currently attending Yale University. The band consists of Adam Cushner on saxophones, Marc Sorel on piano, Silas Meredith on acoustic bass, and Chris Paxton on drums. Our current repertoire includes Brazilian and funk influenced originals, mainstream originals, and jazz standards. We play most of our gigs on campus but would like to also focus on setting up regional performances.

Jazz guitarist Mark Mollica specializes in small ensemble settings with an emphasis on composition and modern repertoire. In the last five years, he has been active in the New England, New Jersey, Los Angeles, and upstate New York music scenes. As a bandleader, he has performed in a variety of venues ranging from the Westport Arts Center in Connecticut to the Village Theatre in Los Angeles to Fuller Hall in Vermont. More often, he can be heard regularly in various duos and trios in southern Connecticut. Recent CT band mates include Henry Lugo, Fred Scerbo, Gary MacFadden, Ed Jarusinsky, Mark Small, Herb Wilson, Chris D’Angelis, Matt Moadell, Rich Zurkowsky, Phil Bowler, Dave Savitsky, Gwen Owen, Matt Criscuolo, and Trever Somerville.
In addition to freelance work, regular gigs include: Duet with vocalist Gary MacFadden at Piccolo in Ridgefield every Tuesday night. Host of the Acoustic CafĂ©’s jazz jam session in Bridgeport on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month. Varied trios at the Guilford Mooring in Guilford every Sunday afternoon. And every Sunday evening finds him at the “O” Bar in Fairfield with a guest saxophonist. Patty Carey, a native of Connecticut, has been a vocalist for over 15 years. Patty's influences have been the greatest female vocalists of five decades including Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Judy Garland, Patsy Cline, Karen Carpenter and more. Patty sings jazz and pop arrangements spanning the years from the 1930s to present and the music she performs is sung with the heart and soul of the original artists. Patty is very active performing for the Greater Hartford Arts Council and their Sponsors. She performs at many local venues such as, Foxwoods Casino, The Pump House Grille, Main and Hopewell and Szechuan Tokyo. Patty performs with many musicians in the area, from duo's and quartets up to a full 17 piece big band.

I have played and loved music since the day I was born. In third grade I picked up the trumpet. Not until eighth grade did I start playing, my main instrument, the guitar. I attended the Greater Hartford Academy of Performing Arts, studying jazz trumpet, piano, and theory. After graduating high school, I started a band called Blind Ambition. We opened up for acts such as; Robbie Kreiger of the Doors, Vince Welneck of the Grateful Dead, Strangefolk, Deep Bannana Blackout, and many others. I am currently taking some time away from weekly gigs to teach guitar at Baldwin Music studio in Avon CT.
