One Eyed Johnny - Blues
One Eyed Johnny
The  "One Eyed Johnny" sound is unique and original, not the copycat beer commercial blues performed by many young blues artists today. He avoids novelty tunes and clichs and his original songs are among fan favorites. His sound is all it's own.  "One Eyed Johnny's" blues have real roots in the Delta blues tradition, honed from nearly fifteen years as a blues musician playing with the likes of Automatic Slim, Big Jack Johnson, Kenny Bell and others. The harmonica has become his signature instrument and sound. If you haven't heard "One Eyed Johnny" play the harmonica then you haven't truly heard the harmonica.  John plays the harmonica the way a harmonica should be played, with great passion and intensity, comparing him to the great harmonica players like James Cotton, Jr. Wells and George Butler. John is one of those rare performers who has a true passion for the blues, good music and his fans.  To see a "One Eyed Johnny" show is to truly experience a legend in the making.
